Inside the house there are spacious lounges with heaters and fireplaces as well as common areas opened to the stone-paved central patio, known in Mallorca as “clastra”. In the lush gardens there are numerous paths with benches where one can relax and contemplate the silent sunrises and bright sunsets, listen to the bleating of a flock of sheep or the sound of birds. For the more active guests we can also suggest short excursions inside the estate where they will be the only hikers. The origin of the property dates back to Arab times in what used to be a farmhouse and where one can still see the aqueduct and remains of canalizations that were used to water the cultivated land. After the Christian conquest of Mallorca, the estate has been owned by numerous Majorcan landowners and since the 19th century it has belonged to the Villalonga familyThe estate features its own orchard where tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, courgettes, and pumpkins are cultivated. There are also fruit trees like orange, tangerine, lemon, pear, fig and pomegranate. Our menus are prepared using our estate produce.
